5 Best Bars In And Around Summit, Yelp Says

SUMMIT, NJ — New Year's Eve is fast approaching and many may choose to stay home while others will travel to their local watering hole to ring in 2018.

With that in mind, here are the highest-rated bars in and around the Summit area, according to Yelp.

Summit House - 395 Springfield Ave., Summit

• “The coconut sorbet, chocolate pudding, carmelized bananas and I think it's hazelnuts was heaven in every bite.”
• “For dessert I ordered the chocolate pudding and it was phenomenal with bananas on the side.”
• “Also had the chicken liver which is served with wonderfully toasted bread and is a creamy delight.”

Piattino Neighborhood Bistro - 67 Union Pl., Summit

• “Fresh Ricotta Appetizer was amazing, as were the Carrot Risotto Balls.”
• “We tried the oven-roasted meatballs, lobster cavatelli and the lemon rosemary swordfish and loved them.”
