SUMMIT-BASED SOLOMON ORGANIZATION WINS 12 “BEST OF LIVING AWARDS” FROM THE APARTMENT ASSOCIATION OF CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA

Kensington Club in Lancaster Exemplifies Company’s Acquisition Strategy

SUMMIT, NJ, Oct. 16, 2012—Solomon Organization, owner and operator of more than 2,000 apartments in Pennsylvania, picked up a dozen awards at the Apartment Association of Central Pennsylvania’s annual “Best of Living” ceremony held on Thurs., Sept. 27th.  Awards included recognition for curb appeal at several properties,
exceptional staff, and the company’s overall web site.

Solomon Organization’s Kensington Club, which the company acquired in May, is one of the company’s four properties in Lancaster to win awards.  Landscaping upgrades, renovations to its clubhouse to include media and game rooms, a clubroom, and fitness center, and a management team consisting of long-term staff, helped the 517-unit community, formerly called Hershey Heritage Village, receive recognition for Curb Appeal Excellence, Leasing and Marketing Excellence, and Overall Community
Excellence.

“Lancaster is a great example of our philosophy, which is to improve well-located properties in a desirable location
-- and increase our holdings if we can,” said Evan Rosen, Managing Director at the Solomon Organization.  “In addition to purchasing Kensington to add to our Lancaster holdings, we also made several acquisitions this year
in New York’s Hudson Valley region, where we now own more than 1,700 units in five communities,”

Solomon Organization staff members, Melissa Good, Vice President for Solomon Organization’s PA region, and Latesha Boots, Leasing Representative at Stone Mill Station in Manor Township, were named “Regional Manager of the Year” and “Rookie of the Year” respectively in recognition for their efforts to ensure that they provide the best living spaces and community experience for their residents.
