Archie Is Summit's Pet Of The Week

SUMMIT, NJ — Meet Archie! He has been chosen as Summit Patch's Pet Of The Week.

"I nominate Archie, our 3 year old Irish Terrier to be Pet of the week. He is lots of fun and is protective of the whole family but, is completely devoted to our youngest child, Julia. Here he is in Julia’s play room playing with his toy Gumby among all of Julia’s Barbie toys.

Archie is very loyal, super active, and takes protection of our backyard very seriously. He loves hunting birds, squirrels and chipmunks. He also loves to snuggle with his humans.

Participating in the Pet of the Week happenings is simple: submit your nomination by emailing alexis.tarrazi@patch.com. Be sure to include a photograph or two of your pet, a paragraph about what makes him or her so great, and the part of town you're from. You can choose to include your name, but you don't need to. Then just keep an eye out for a photo of your pet on the Patch!

The photo can be of a present pet, or it can be a baby picture of the adult pet you're so proud of today.
