Assault By Auto Arrest In Summit: Police

SUMMIT, NJ - A 20-year-old Union man was jailed after committing robbery and assault, according to the Summit Police Department.

Jason A. King was arrested and charged with robbery, simple assault and assault by a motor vehicle. In New Jersey, assault by auto occurs if an individual drives a vehicle or vessel recklessly and causes serious bodily injury to another person.

King was processed and subsequently transported to the Union County Jail where custody was turned over to their officers.
