Boys Track and Field Wins Sectional Championship
Team travels to Egg Harbor this weekend for Group championship.

The Summit Boys track and field team placed first at the NJSIAA state sectionals, section 2, group 2 May 22. Mark Jones led the way bringing home four golds in the high jump, triple jump, long jump and 110 meter hurdeles. Other noteworthy performances for Summit were: Ben Raskin–scoring in three events: 100, 200 and 400 meter run; Matt Espy, earning points in the two hurdles races, and Mike Watts scoring in the shot put. This championship win is a first for the Summit high track team. The team advances to the State Group Championship on May 28 and 29 in Egg Harbor.
