Business Was Stiffed For Car Service: Summit Police

A Broad Street service center said a customer took their car without paying, police said.

SUMMIT, NJ - The Summit Police Department are investigating a theft of services complaint from a Broad Street business on July 18.

According to authorities the victim reported that a customer had removed a vehicle from a service center on Broad Street and left the area prior to paying a diagnostic fee that was owed to the business.

The victim reported the total amount that was not paid was $151.18.
