Car Stolen, Recovered In Summit: Police

SUMMIT, NJ - The Summit Police are looking for the person responsible for stealing a car from a driveway on a Fernwood residence on May 8.

According to authorities, Summit Police took a report for a theft of a motor vehicle from a Fernwood Road residence where the car had been left unlocked with the key fob inside.

The car stolen was a Mercedes-Benz GL4 which was valued at approximately $55,000, police said.

Detectives recovered the vehicle the following day, police said.
