Central Jersey Volleyball Academy Announces Girls Volleyball Tryouts

CJVA Offers Programs in Flemington and Summit.

Central Jersey Volleyball Academy (CJVA) is holding tryouts for girls entering grades 5 through 12. The tryouts will be held November 2, 4, and 6, 2016 at RAC Sports, 97 River Road in Flemington and Nov. 3 and 5, 2016 at Kent Place School in Summit, NJ.

CJVA offers three levels of competition for girls. The most competitive teams compete in the open level both regionally and nationally. Developmental teams compete at local levels.

“We are committed to providing exceptional training in a positive, healthy and competitive environment,” says Andrea Salazar, Director of CJVA’s girls program. “Our goal is to develop our players through a strong work ethic, teamwork, and character-building.”

CJVA, a non-profit organization which was founded in 2004, fielded 16 girls teams ages U12 to U18 in Flemington, seven girls team ages U14 to U17 in Summit, and four boys teams ages U15 to U17 in Flemington last season.

CJVA offers training, youth development, and competitive teams for girls and boys.

“Volleyball is one of the best lifetime sports and we are seeing growth in opportunities for our student athletes to continue their careers on a collegiate level,” says Rich Pickrell, CJVA’s Recruiting Director.
