A Century Of Police Leadership Celebrated In Summit
Three chiefs, past and present have served Summit for more than 110 combined years.
SUMMIT, NJ - Three generations of police leadership collided and caught up on Thursday as Summit Police Chiefs past and present spent some time reminiscing.
Current Chief Robert Weck met with his predecessors, Retired Chief William Schneller and Retired Chief Robert Lucid. The trio has a combined 110 plus years of dedicated service to the residents of Summit.
And for Weck the clock is still running.

Weck said it is always great to see the work relationships transition to friendships that carry well into the years of retirement.
