City Of Summit Scores Sustainability Grant
The $2,000 was given by the PSE&G Foundation.

SUMMIT, NJ - The City of Summit was awarded a $2,000 capacity-building grant through the Sustainable Jersey Grants Program funded by the PSEG Foundation.
Summit is one of 36 municipalities in New Jersey that has received funding to implement a variety of sustainability projects focused on green infrastructure, park restoration, single-use plastic reduction campaigns, rain gardens, environmental resource inventories, green team capacity building and more.
“We are thankful to Sustainable Jersey for its support of vital environmental projects in Summit,” Mayor Nora Radest said. “This grant will enable our municipality to enhance our efforts to track and reduce Summit’s carbon footprint and energy use, and better maintain our local parks and hiking trails. This important work would not be possible without Sustainable Jersey funding and the outstanding efforts of Summit’s environmental commission and green team volunteers.”
