Cornog Fieldhouse Open House To Be Held March 1
Residents will learn about updates being made to the new community center and see renovations at the historic Cornog Fieldhouse.
SUMMIT, NJ — Summit locals are invited to an open house on March 1 to learn about updates being made to the new community center building project and to see renovations at the historic Cornog Fieldhouse.
The open house will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cornog Fieldhouse at 5 Myrtle Ave.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for the community to view the renovations and improvements made to the historic Cornog Fieldhouse,” explains Judith Leblein Josephs, director of Community Programs.

An update on the progress being made at the new Community Center at 100 Morris Ave. will also be provided.
Improvements to the existing 8,000 square foot Community Center include an 11,600-square-foot addition with an expanded senior lounge, full-sized gym, additional restrooms, enhanced meeting spaces, an area for teens, improved parking and accessibility.
