The 16th Annual Summit Antique/Classic Car which is sponsored by Summit Downtown, Inc. will be rolling into town on September 16, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Car Show will take place in downtown Summit on the streets adjacent to the Summit Train Station. The rain date is Sunday, September 23, 2012.
Twenty classes of cars will be on hand and are guaranteed to excite car enthusiasts of every age. Each class of car will be judged and trophies will be awarded to the 1st and 2nd place finishers in each category and visitors will have fun casting their vote for the Peoples’ Choice Trophy. The 1927 antique Summit Chemical Engine Fire Truck, which is being restored through the efforts of the Summit Historical Society and Summit Fire Department, will also be on hand for viewing.

DJ Stick Shift Eddie will be playing your favorite oldies from the 50’s and 60’s and the event promises to be a wonderful day for all car buffs.

Admission is free and free parking is available throughout the downtown area.
