If you have been noticing the sculptures exhibited throughout the Summit area and are interested in learning more or would like to be involved in some way, the Summit Public Art's Committee is hosting an informal cocktail party on Thursday, June 17th.
It is going to be a very exiting evening with a terrific guest speaker and 5 or 6 of the artists who currently have work on display throughout town also present. For those who are interested there is nothing quite as exciting as meeting and supporting a living artist whose work you like and getting a direct sense of this creative person and the journey they are taking. Others might simply want to know a bit more about the people and objectives of Summit's Public Art Committee and are welcome as well.
