AUDITIONS FOR PEBBLE PLAYERS’ “LEGALLY BLONDE” SET FOR SEPTEMBER
Can a UCLA sorority girl excel at Harvard Law while keeping true to herself and without losing her style?
That’s the central question of “Legally Blonde, the Musical,” for which Pebble Players, the youth division of Stony Hill Players, will be holding auditions Friday, September 7 (4 to 8 p.m.) and Saturday, September 8 (9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.). Additional auditions and callbacks are scheduled for Friday, September 14 (3:30 to 6 p.m.). Auditions will be by appointment at Oakes Center, 120 Morris Avenue, Summit, NJ.

A piano accompanist will be supplied. Auditoners should bring music to sing which lets their voices shine − the music need not be from the show. Wear comfortable footwear (no flipflops please) as a brief dance audition will also be conducted to see how you move.
“Legally Blonde, the Musical” is based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer motion picture. The book is by Heather Hach with music and lyrics by Lawrence O’Keefe and Neil Benjamin.
Jayne Myers will direct. Jayne had directed Pebble Players’ wildly successful shows Annie, Bye Bye Birdie and Once Upon a Mattress. Cindy Jung will choreograph.
