Students in Grades six thru twelve are welcome to participate in a series of comic book workshops featuring Bobby and Peter Timony, creators of the web comics The Night Owls. The workshops will take place in the Ernest S. Hickock meeting room at the library, every Wednesday in October, from 6-7 PM.
The Timony Twins, who are originally from New Providence, NJ, and have recently released a compilation of their web comic The Night Owls, will be showing the participants how to create their own comic book or manga character, and how to write a comic book story about their character. Participants are required to attend all four weeks.
This free arts education program is made possible in part by a HEART (History, Education, Arts Reaching Thousands) Grant from the Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders.
