Mind, Body and The Tao: Tai Chi and Qigong

Mind, Body and The Tao: Tai Chi and Qigong

Learn more about the ancient Chinese path of the Tao (the Way, the Path or the Great Meaning), through the ancient arts of Tai Chi and Qigong. Sometimes described as "meditation in motion," the slow, gentle movements of Tai Chi promote serenity  — connecting the mind and body. Patty de Llosa has been teaching this noncompetitive, self-paced system of gentle physical exercise and stretching for 40 years.  A Tai Chi and Alexander teacher who lives in New York City, she is author of The Practice of Presence: Five Paths for Daily Life (Morning Light Press 2006), and Contributing Editor of Parabola Magazine.
