Reeves-Reed Arboretum Announces Elephant Tree Camp Registration

Reeves-Reed Arboretum located at 165 Hobart Avenue invites your child to be a part of Elephant Tree Nature Camp, a nature-themed summer day camp for children ages 4 through 12.

Each one-week camp session is focused around a specific environmental topic and is designed to appeal to children with a love of the natural world. Younger children can become weather watchers for the week or enjoy learning about the Arboretum’s feathered friends. The older campers might enjoy becoming Arboretum artists or participating in a week of wilderness training!

New this summer will be extended hours for post-kindergarten aged children, multiple sessions for different aged children running simultaneously; and a new optional program will allow your camper to extend his/her day at the Summit YMCA for an hour of free swim with transportation provided.  A Junior Master Gardener program will be offered and youth who attend all four weeks will become certified Junior Master Gardeners.
