The Summit Department of Community Programs, is excited to introduce Friday Night Rec!. It's a program for Summit Middle School students on November 12, 2010 from 7pm-9pm. The Department of Community Programs, will host this event at the Summit Community Center 100 Morris Avenue. The event is the design of Mike Fusco of Summit Soundz. Mike has been a Mobile DJ since 1987 and brings a wealth of entertainment experience to the Department or Community Programs events. Summit Soundz, has planned a great night of exciting events of fun, music, games and refreshments. The first Friday Night Rec! will feature Game Show Mania, a chance to compete in game shows seen on television. Teens are encouraged to take advantage of this dynamic event. Parents can rest assured that it will be a fun and safe environment. Adult Chaperones as well as experienced recreation staff will be on the premises. The event is free of charge. Once they leave the event they will not be allowed re-entry. This is the first of what the Department of Community Programs believes will be an ongoing event at the Community Center.
