Fallen Tree Causing Traffic Delays On Rt. 22 In Mountainside
Breaking: Drivers should expect continued delays on the westbound side of Rt. 22 throughout the day while NJ DOT cleans up.
MOUNTAINSIDE, NJ — A fallen tree in Mountainside is causing traffic delays on Route 22 Tuesday morning, police report.
Route 22 East and West was reduced to one lane in each direction between Lawrence Avenue and New Providence Road.
"Thank you to the construction crew from the Alpine Ridge project who assisted in clearing the highway with their heavy machinery before DOT was able to arrive," Mountainside Police Department reported.
