The Summit Girls Field Hockey squad has one goal this season – continue winning.
Summit, the reigning North Jersey, Section 2, Group 2 Sectional Champions (the team's first-ever title), finished with an overall record of 18-5 last season and finished with a final No. 11 ranking in the state.
The Hilltoppers open the 2010 campaign with three straight road games, starting with a visit to Watchung Hills at 4 p.m. today and visit to Chatham Saturday at 2 p.m.

Coach Jen Schwarzenbek, who is in her third season at the helm, returns three key players.
Last season, senior Katie Stucke (M/B) was named to the second-team All-Union County defense, a second-team All-State Group 2 defensive choice. Junior Caroline Cordrey was named to second-team-All Union County. Senior Faith Tully was a third-team All-Union County.

"We have been overwhelmed with injuries this season," Schwarzenbek said. "But I am confident that while we are young in a number of key positions, and a number of return starters will be taking on a new role, Summit will come together and have a winning season."
