Forgery Arrest In Summit: Police
Eric Lee Lopez was also charged with theft by deception, police said.
SUMMIT, NJ - A 37-year-old Brooklyn, NY, man was arrested and charged with forgery on July 17, according to the Summit Police Department.
According to authorities, Eric Lee Lopez was additionally charged theft by deception and criminal attempt to commit a crime. Theft by deception generally means the use of deception to obtain control over the property or services, according to statute.
Lopez was processed and released with a pending court date.
