Free Workshop: Surviving the Job Search

Looking for a job?  On Tuesday, February 4, from 7:00 – 9:00 PM, the Summit Free Public Library will host ”Surviving the job search”.  Presenter Neil Berger will answer such questions as: What happens to your resume once you press ‘send’? When does the interview process really begin? Can an interviewer ask if an applicant has ever been arrested? What is the “hidden paycheck”?  Join us as Mr. Berger leads us through the total interview process —- from submitting a resume to accepting a job offer — in a two-hour interactive workshop to get answers to these and other questions.

Neil Berger has more than thirty years of Human Resources experience.  After five years as a New York City high school English teacher, he joined the Human Resources profession, first as a training specialist, and then as Manager of Training and Development for Chemical Bank.

All are welcome to attend this free program.  Due to limited space, we request that you please pre-register at the Reference Desk or call 908-273-0350, EXT. 3.
