Junior League of Summit Announces Annual Beach Blast Event

The Junior League of Summit Thrift Shop, 37 DeForest Ave., is excited to announce its annual Beach Blast Event! The special sale will be held Thursday, May 24 from 9:30am to 8:00pm and Friday, May 25 from 9:30am to 2:30pm. The Beach Blast features new and gently used men's, women's, and children's swimwear, summer clothes, footwear, beach toys, and seasonal home decor, at significantly reduced prices.

“With warmer temperatures rolling in, we are thrilled to display our wonderful selection of summer merchandise,” said Thrift Shop Manager, Marie Avagliano, “We have something for everyone and look forward to welcoming shoppers and serving the community at this event and throughout the summer season”

As with all shop events, all proceeds support the League’s programming, including GRACE, community projects, grants and scholarships.

The Junior League of Summit Thrift Shop in Summit was established in 1934 and offers new and gently used clothing and shoes for men, women and children, toys, decorative items for the home, house wares, and furniture that is deeply discounted. It is the primary fundraiser for the Junior League of Summit and has provided the resources for the League’s many grants, projects, programs, and scholarships over the years. The Shop accepts MC, Visa, and debit cards.

The Junior League of Summit is a nonprofit, charitable and educational organization of women who are committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
