HomeTowne Television® Receives Grants from Investors Foundation
Grant for production of television programs that spotlight volunteerism and a very special program at the Paper Mill Playhouse
HomeTowne Television®, a nonprofit television channel in Summit, has received two grants from Investors Foundation to underwrite the production of a television program that showcases the good work of people in our community and a documentary about the programs at the Paper Mill Playhouse that ensures everyone can enjoy the theatre.
The first grant of $10,000 will underwrite the production of a series of four half-hour television shows spotlighting Investors Bank employees who give back to the communities where they live.
The second grant of $3,300 will be used to fund a documentary about Paper Mill Playhouse’s barrier-free access to theater and their Theater for Everyone program. Using innovative technology and a dedicated staff of professionals, the Theater for Everyone program makes the live theatre experience and arts education available to people who are hearing and visually impaired, have autism, or have other physical and learning disabilities who would not ordinarily be able to enjoy a theatrical performance.
