The Junior League of Summit (JLS) is hosting a Community Leadership Forum, Friday April 25th, 9-11 am at Temple Sinai in Summit. It is the organization's second forum this year. This event is a training session, focusing on fundraising for local nonprofit organizations.
"Fundraising Challenges in a Changing World," will be led by national speaker and trainer, Carol Scott. Scott specializes in nonprofit management, governance and fundraising. She is the former President of The Children's Museum of the Upstate in Greenville, South Carolina and served as CEO from 2004-2010.
"Through our Community Leadership Forums, we seek to provide valuable training to local nonprofit organizations in order to help them maximize their effectiveness, as well as give them an opportunity for networking among these great organizations, " commented JLS President Colleen Markley, "We very much look forward to convening our local community partners yet again! "
