The Junior League of Summit is pleased to launch their 2022 Community Grants Program. The Junior League of Summit's goal is to promote and sustain social change in the communities they serve. By empowering women and providing valuable leadership training, they give women in our communities the tools to get involved, put their talents to work, and positively impact the communities of Berkeley Heights, Chatham, New Providence, and Summit - and beyond.

The grants program enables them to support 501(c)3 organizations creating change in these communities. The focus is on programs and projects which are meeting the emerging needs of our communities arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, including increased demand, new populations, new needs, and new ways to meet these needs.

It is important that the projects and organizations that the JLS fund serve and enrich the full diversity of our communities. As such, the Junior League of Summit encourages applications from existing partners and organizations with whom they have not yet had the opportunity to partner. Applications for grants of $500-$5,000 are welcomed. Priority will be given to applicants who did not receive a Junior League of Summit grant in the previous year of the program.
