Kent Place Student Signs Letter of Intent to Play Golf at Georgetown University
Kent Place School announces that senior Christina Parsells of Summit signed her National Letter of Intent to play golf at Georgetown

Kent Place School is pleased to announce that senior Christina Parsells of Summit signed her National Letter of Intent to play Division I golf at Georgetown University.
“I’m so excited,” stated Parsells. “I am really looking forward to the opportunity to play for Georgetown as it has very high academic standards.”
Parsells has been named Female Junior NJPGA (New Jersey Professional Golf Association) Player of the Year (2013); the Star-Ledger named her First Team All-State (5 golfers chosen) and The Record also named her First Team All-State (7 golfers chosen). NJPGA chose her to represent them in the Pritsch Cup and she was selected by FCWT (Future Collegians World Tour) as Honorable Mention All-Academic Team. She was most recently selected by the AGJA (American Junior Golf Association) as Honorable Mention and HP Scholastic All-American Team.

“Kent Place has really prepared me well on- and off-the-course,” continued Parsells. “Kent Place has taught me the values of hard work and determination.”
Parsells said she has wanted to play Division I golf ever since she began playing at age 12.
