Make 'em laugh!

Library offers stand-up comedy workshop

The Summit Free Public Library will offer a stand-up comedy workshop, starting May 16, for five consecutive Wednesday nights from 7-9 p.m. Have fun telling and developing your stories and jokes. Participants should expect to 'stand up' at least once each session for five minutes or so and receive both laughs and feedback.

Summit resident and comedian Doug Max will lead the workshop and guarantees a supportive, fun, and safe space for adults who want to develop their ability to make others laugh. The program is free, but space is limited, and pre-registration is required. Register on the library website here or call the Reference Desk at 908-273-0350, ext. 3. The Summit Free Public Library is located at 75 Maple Street.
