Summit Elks Lodge No. 1246

On February 5, 2014, we will initiate twenty new members into Summit Elks Lodge No. 1246. This is a momentous occasion as it will ensure that our membership remain over one thousand members. Among those to be initiated will be May Yanacone, the mother of our Tiler, Michael Yanacone, who is ninety eight years young. This makes it an even much more momentous event. Each year we go down to Wildwood in June for the New Jersey State Elks Association parade and May, who walks two miles a day, said that she wants to march with us. She is an amazing woman, but then so many of our members are amazing people.
