New Ice Cream Store Opening In Summit

SUMMIT, NJ - The ribbon was just cut on the brand new Ani Ramen on Springfield Avenue, but soon that eatery will be joined by Luigi's Ice Cream.

According to our friends at Downtown Summit, Inc. the ice cream shop will be opening later this month and an official date is imminent.

According to their website, Luigi's uses the best ingredients from the highest quality products and make it by hand and that is their formula for incredible ice creams. Luigi's does not buy from big brands and reselling them as homemade, they take the time to make their own products in their Red Bank facility in small batches.

They currently have shops in Red Bank, Metuchen and Jersey City.

"During our travels, we discovered so many wonderful ice cream flavors that we wanted our friends and family to experience also," the owners said on their website. "We would make small batches to share during gatherings. What was just a hobby turned into what we are today. Our mission: create wonderful desserts that our friends and family can be proud of."
