Artspace@MONDO is proud to present recent works of New Jersey artist, Mary Jean Canziani. The works in this exhibition, titled Nota Bene, draw our attention to books as an endangered species. Canziani, a resident of Springfield, NJ uses her skills as a muralist to paint on unusual surfaces. Old books become her canvas and through the interplay between the titles of the books and the painted imagery she creates ample possibility for witty commentary. The show will run from June 17 to September 6th. A reception for the artist is planned for June 27th from 6 - 8. Artspace@MONDO is on the third floor of MONDO, 426 Springfield Ave. Summit NJ 079701.
