Office Tavern Grill To Reopen Summit Location Dec. 21

Summit, NJ -- The Office Tavern Grill will reopen its newly renovated restaurant in Summit on Monday, Dec. 21.

Located at 67 Union Place, directly across from the train station, the new Office Tavern Grill will offer guests a completely revamped food and drink menu, and a bar with 40 rotating beer taps, an extensive craft beer and specialty cocktails selection, combined with a fresh new look and feel.

A reinvention of the iconic New Jersey restaurant brand known simply as “The Office,” its newest incarnation, The Office Tavern Grill, is a crossroad where upscale and casual meet in a chic relaxed dining environment.

A modern vision of what it used to be, The Office Tavern Grill in Summit is a 5,000-square-foot food and beverage oasis with a rustic wood and steel vibe complimented by old-style copper beer kettles and temperature-controlled recessed wine coolers – providing its guests city-chic ambiance nestled quietly in the suburbs.

Additionally, The Office Tavern Grill’s new Summit location will add approximately 100 new jobs to the local economy.

The Office Tavern Grill’s culinary team prepares gastropub-style food using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients whenever possible.

The Office Tavern Grill provides guests with a variety of selections from its chef-driven menu, including signature items like Sweet Potato Nachos, Mushroom Flatbread, Hilltop Dog, Duck Pot Pie, Chicken and Waffles and more – plus traditional Office favorites like burgers, wings, flatbreads and more, paired with the best micro brews, regional favorites and international staples hand-selected by its own Cicerone.

Additionally, The Office Tavern Grill will offer a new limited-edition Road Trip menu, which will feature signature dishes from around the country, paying homage to a select state in the U.S. each month.

In 2011, Morristown-based, 40NORTH Restaurant Group, owner and operator of restaurants including The Black Horse Tavern and The Black Horse Pub, Piattino Neighborhood Bistro and George & Martha’s American Grille, rescued The Office Beer Bar & Grill concept, purchasing the beloved brand with the intention of a complete overhaul. 40NORTH Restaurant Group relaunched The Office Tavern Grill on “The Green” in Morristown to much acclaim in June 2014. The company plans to renovate the Ridgewood location next, with a grand re-opening set for fall 2016.

Open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week, and serving brunch on the weekends, The Office Tavern Grill will also host Happy Hour every Monday to Friday from 4 to 7 p.m., featuring a variety of drink specials in addition to its Signature Office Flights with four 4-ounce drafts for $9.

The Office Tavern Grill in Summit’s hours of operation are Sunday: 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., Monday to Thursday: 11 a.m. to midnight, Friday: 11 to 1 a.m. and Saturday: 10 to 1 a.m.
