Pedestrian Hit While Trying To Cross Street In Elizabeth
The 36-year-old Elizabeth woman was knocked her to ground by a car causing injury to her left hip and collarbone.

ELIZABETH, NJ — A pedestrian was struck by a car while trying to cross an intersection in Elizabeth on Tuesday night.
The 36-year-old Elizabeth woman was reportedly hit around 6 p.m. by a 2011 Toyota at the intersection of Lidgerwood and South Elmora avenues causing her to be knocked her to ground, Elizabeth Police Captain Andrew King said.
The victim sustained an injury to her left hip and collarbone, King said.

Summonses were issued to the driver for failure to stop for pedestrian in a crosswalk.
