Piattino: A Neighborhood Bistro To Open Location In Summit

SUMMIT, NJ — Piattino: A Neighborhood Bistro, which serves up modern twists to traditional Italian fare, will officially open the doors to its new Summit location on Thursday, Jan. 5, 2017.

Located at 67 Union Place, right next door to The Office Tavern Grill, Piattino’s 5,200-square-foot restaurant will offer seating for 160 guests, private event space to accommodate personal and professional celebrations. In addition, Piattino Summit will add 100 jobs to the local economy.

In addition to favorite menu items from its original Mendham location, once open, Piattino Summit will add seven new dishes to its menu, like the Seafood Fregola - jumbo shrimp, lobster tail, charred fennel, roasted tomato and lobster broth and theTruffled Porchietta French Dip- smoked mozzarella, truffle aioli, and caramelized onions.

The new Summit location will also offer a full bar, house-made cocktails and an extensive wine selection by the bottle and glass, as well as an expansive charcuterie assortment.

Open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week, and serving brunch on the weekends, Piattino Summit’s hours of operation are Monday to Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight and Sunday from 11 to 9 p.m.
