The Summit Area YMCA will host a Camp Open House to showcase the diverse selection of enriching summer camp programs for all interests and ages. The Camp Open House will be held on May 10, from 1:00 – 3:00pm, at both the Berkeley Heights YMCA and the Summit YMCA.
All families in the community are invited to the Camp Open House being held on Saturday, May 10 at the Berkeley Heights YMCA, 550 Springfield Avenue, and at the Summit YMCA, 67 Maple Street. The events, which will take place from 1:00 – 3:00pm at both locations, will showcase the diversity of over 30 traditional and specialty camps for children of all ages. Families who register for summer camp at the Open House will receive a ‘Bonus Balloon’ that holds a special prize, one of which is a free week of camp.
As a cause-driven organization, the Summit Area YMCA supports youth development and seeks to nurture the potential of every child and teen. Each Y camp program is designed with that goal in mind and focuses on the Y’s four core values of honesty, caring, respect and responsibility.

The Summit Area YMCA is an ACA accredited camp and all camp counselors are highly trained, motivated and eager to provide children with a wonderful summer experience.
