Summit Halloween Activity Update: Parade And Downtown Trick-Or-Treating Are On

The Summit PAL Halloween parade is scheduled for late October.

SUMMIT, NJ — Halloween is 40 days away, and one popular Summit activity has been put on the calendar.

The annual PAL Halloween Parade has been scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 23, with a rain date of the next day. It starts at Village Green, 356 Broad St.

Participants line up at 2:45 p.m. There will be judging, games and music. Check for updates and more information here.

A Downtown Summit trick-or-treat event had a confusing message on its website this week that has since been revised. The website originally advised, "So sorry but downtown Trick-or-Treat is cancelled this year. Please enjoy Halloween safely in your neighborhoods." However, a downtown official said the Oct. 29, 2021 event is still on, and the website has been revised. Click the link to learn more.
