Two Summit Residents Jump From Window In House Fire
The Weaver Street residents were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, and a firefighter was treated at the scene.
SUMMIT, NJ — Two Summit residents had to jump from the second floor of their house at 20 Weaver St. in Summit during a fire on Thursday night, the day after Christmas, Chief Eric Evers said on Friday. A firefighter who was injured was treated at the scene and released.
The two residents remained hospitalized as of the morning, Evers said, but their injuries appeared to be non-life-threatening.
Evers said the fire did not appear to be suspicious, and is being investigated.

The 2,400-square-foot single-family home was built in 1900, according to Zillow.
