Summit Man Among 3 Arrested For DWI
A car parked on Woodland Avenue was also damaged when someone threw a large rock through the rear window, police report.

SUMMIT, NJ — A Summit man was among three people to be arrested for driving while intoxicated recently in the City, police report.
On Oct. 8, Emiliano P. Rojas, 41, of Summit was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and resisting arrest. Rojas was released with a pending court date.
On Oct. 4, John K. Schweitzer, 32, of Millburn was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. Schweitzer was released with an upcoming court date.

On Oct. 14, Madeline Gonzalez, 38, of Dover was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. Gonzalez was released with a pending court date.

On Oct. 5: Sharelle N. King, 22, of Piscataway, was arrested on a contempt of court warrant out of Plainfield. King was turned over to Plainfield Police Department’s custody.
On Oct. 5: Kristian A. Pettis, 23, of Maplewood, was arrested on two contempt of court warrants out of Dover and Maplewood. Pettis was processed and released with a pending court date.
On Oct. 6: Ronald V. Horn, 49, of Vauxhall, was arrested on multiple contempt of court warrants. Horn was unable to post bail and was subsequently transported to Union County Jail where custody was turned over to the sheriff’s department.
On Oct. 7: Dallmaine O. Drummond, 28, of Jamaica, New York was arrested and charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS). Subsequent to his arrest, it was also discovered that he had two contempt of court warrants out of Jersey City pending. Drummond was processed and turned over to Jersey City Police Department.
On Oct. 9 at 7:40 a.m.: A report was taken for criminal mischief to a vehicle parked on Woodland Avenue. The victim reported a silver Honda Odyssey had sustained a smashed rear window by an unknown person(s) throwing a large rock through the window. The victim reported the incident occurred between Oct. 7 and 9.
On Oct. 9 at 11:19 a.m.: A report was taken for a theft from a Beechwood Road business. The victim reported an employee had been let go from the business, and per the employment agreement, upon termination all equipment must be returned. The suspect failed to return a Verizon Ellipsis Jetpack, Dell Latitude E5570 Laptop and a Grandstream GXP 2170 device. The total estimated value of the three items is approximately $1,534.47.
On Oct. 10: Gilbert Mendez, 25, of Clifton was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS). Mendez was released with a pending court date.
On Oct. 10 at 8:04 p.m.: A report was taken for a theft of a laptop. The victim reported the incident occurred on Sept. 27 between noon and 3 p.m. at the Summit High School. The laptop, a Dell Chromebook 11 Laptop valued at approximately $250.
On Oct. 11: Arrahmaan N. Mohammed, 55, of Rahway was arrested for a contempt of court warrant out of Summit. Mohammed was transported to the Union County Jail where custody was turned over to their officers.
On Oct. 13: Kristian A. Pettis, 23, of Maplewood was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Pettis was released with a pending court date.
On Oct. 15 at 10:23 p.m.: A report was taken for a theft of an autographed hockey stick from a hotel room on Springfield Avenue. The victim reported the incident occurred between the morning hours of Friday, Oct. 13 and the evening of Sunday, Oct. 15. Taken from the closet in the victim’s hotel room was an autographed hockey stick from a player on the New Jersey Devil’s valued at approximately $400.
