In addition to reading from the script, auditioners may choose (NOT required) to perform a short comic monologue and/or demonstrate that they are actors who know how to use their physicality onstage. Three of
the roles require foreign accents, so an ability to learn accents is necessary for them. Audition sides can be downloaded at http://www.thesummitplayhouse.org/auditions.html

Role Breakdowns (ALL roles are open and newcomers are welcome).

Completely confident in his situation. Out of his league when things go

town in Wisconsin. Awakens to the possibilities of bachelorhood.
Everything is new to him.

Independent, progressive, health-obsessed stewardess. Think
cheerleader. She's living the feminist dream in her own way.

Gabriella
(Female. 25-35) (Italian) Sentimental and sexy stewardess. Very smart
and a little suspicious. Bernard calls her a "kitten".

Gretchen:
(Female. 25-35) (German) Passionate, dominating (yet vulnerable)
stewardess. For her, love is all. Very touchy/feely. Huge appetite.

Berthe:
(Female. 40-60) (French) Taciturn housekeeper who loves nothing more
