“The Summit Police Department is pleased to join Summit firefighters to raise money for disadvantaged and traumatized children, youth and families,” said Chief Robert Weck. “It is always a fun evening, and I hope that the community will come out and cheer us on as we walk the runway for a great cause.”

The runway show will also include designs from Sareh Nouri, Bloomingdales and Dennis Basso. Members of the public are invited and encouraged to attend. Tickets are $150 each and can be purchased online.

“This will be our fourth year of proudly participating,” said Summit Fire Chief Eric Evers. “This event is as much about community building as it is about raising money for children and families. We will once again set the runway on fire to benefit Family and Children’s Services.”

Family and Children’s Services is an independent non-profit behavioral health and social service agency serving Union County and the surrounding area. Founded in 1893, the agency focuses its work on at-risk, disadvantaged and traumatized children, youth and families.
