Summit Police Host Drive-Thru Food Drive For Pantry All Weekend
The food will be distributed to as many as 500 needy families each Tuesday at the Cornog Field House. See list below of needed items.

SUMMIT, NJ – The Summit Police Department will host a community food drive to benefit the Junior League of Summit’s Grace Pantry program this Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Summit High School on 125 Kent Place Blvd.
Donors can drive up in their cars for contactless drop-off.
The Liberty Group of Berkeley Heights will transport donated items to Cornog Field House at Memorial Field in Summit for distribution to the more than 500 families that Grace Pantry feeds on Tuesdays each week.

The Police Department is requesting donations of the following non-perishable items: One pound bags of rice and dried beans, cans of tuna, salmon, chicken and beef, baby wipes and diapers sizes four to six, disinfectant cleaning products and wipes, shampoo, soap and body wash, toothbrushes and toothpaste, paper towels and toilet paper.
All volunteers will use personal protective equipment (PPE), and wear a face covering and gloves while collecting and distributing donated goods.
