Summit Residents May Have To Move Their Cars On One Street

SUMMIT, NJ — The Division of Public Works planned to begin the milling and paving of Manor Hill Road on Wednesday, Aug. 11, and will continue through Monday.

The milling of the road will be completed by Friday, weather permitting. When paving begins on Monday, access to driveways will be prohibited until the asphalt application is completely dry. Residents are asked to park vehicles on neighboring side streets before 7 a.m.

No parking will be permitted along the entire length of Manor Hill Road during paving. Access to emergency vehicles will be provided at all times. Trash and recycling schedules will not change.

This schedule is weather dependent, and could be subject to change. Residents with questions about the project are advised to contact the Department of Community Services at dcs@cityofsummit.org or call the construction division phone number at (908) 273-6408.
