UPDATE: Power Outage Continues for Summit Residents

Power outages are still being reported on Tuesday in Summit after a nasty thunderstorm ripped through the area.

Sunday night's thunderstorm brought down trees all around the Union County area causing power outages to residents.

As of Tuesday, April 5, 23 JCP&L customers and less than 5 PSE&G customers living in Union County are still without power.

The number of residents without power in Summit went from 18 this morning to less than 5 now.

  • Berkeley Heights - Less than 5
  • New Providence - Less than 5
  • Summit - Less than 5

There is also less than 5 customers with PSE&G who are still in the dark in Hillside, Plainfield and Elizabeth.
