Summit Schools Closed Monday Due To Snow
Breaking: The district has no more snow days left and has already had to make up 1 day from previous storms.

SUMMIT, NJ — Due to snow, all Summit Public Schools are closed Monday.
The district initially announced a delayed opening but changed the status to closed around 8 a.m.
The district has already exceeded the amount of allotted snow days for the 2017-18 calendar school year. Due to the snow day used on March 21, one day will be made up during the spring recess week. Additionally, the last day of school for students will now be June 20 and last day for staff on June 22. (See Related: Summit Schools Must Make Up 1 Snow Day)

The district will now have to make-up Monday's snow day as well.
The storm for Monday could bring as many as 3 to 6 inches in spots, according to the National Weather Service. (See Related: NJ Weather: Winter Weather Advisory, April Snow Estimates Rise)
