Summit Schools To Have Remote Learning Tuesday Due To Snow
As the nor'easter continues, Summit public school students will have remote learning Tuesday.
SUMMIT, NJ — As a nor'easter continued to blanket Summit in snow on Monday afternoon, the Summit public schools called for remote learning on Tuesday morning, as opposed to being closed like Monday. But it will be for one session.
"Due to inclement weather, Summit Public Schools will operate under an all remote, single session schedule tomorrow, February 2, 2021," the district announced. "There will be no afternoon remote instruction. All after-school activities and events will be cancelled."
The National Weather Service estimated on Monday that 14 to 18 inches could fall in North Jersey in total, with winds up to 45 miles per hour.
