Summit Tractor Trailer Fire Reported Friday Morning: DOT

SUMMIT, NJ - A tractor trailer fire in Summit is affecting commuter traffic Friday morning, authorities said.

As of 2:11 a.m., there's a tractor trailer fire on I-78 in both directions west of Exit 45 - CR 527/Glenside Avenue in Summit, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation's 511NJ website.

1 right lane was still closed as of 6 a.m., the agency said.
