Summit Will Be Paving These Roads; Move Your Car From Driveway

Residents must bring their cars to a different street by 7 a.m. to allow the asphalt to dry.

SUMMIT, NJ — The city of Summit Department of Community Services began its annual roads micro-paving program Thursday. Access to driveways will be prohibited until the asphalt application is completely dry, so residents are asked to park vehicles on neighboring side streets before 7 a.m.

Access to emergency vehicles will be provided at all times. Street schedules are subject to change. Trash and recycling pick up is scheduled to occur prior to the start of micro-paving.
