Summit Woman Killed in Parkway Accident
Police have identified a Summit woman who died after crashing into a tree

Old Bridge, NJ -- A Summit woman was killed after her car crashed into a tree while traveling on the Garden State Parkway in Old Bridge, according to NJ State Police Sgt. Jeff Flynn.
Police identified the victim as Marie McNally, 63, from Summit.
McNally was traveling north in the left lane of the express side of the Garden State Parkway yesterday when she went off the road to the left and struck a tree, Flynn said.

The crash occurred at mile marker 121.4 in Old Bridge.
Police responded to the scene at 3:46 p.m. and the Laurence Harbor Fire Department extricated McNally from her 2013 Mercedes Benz.

She was transported to the Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge where she was later pronounced dead.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, Flynn said.
