Summit's July 4th Celebration Fireworks For 2017
The day-long celebration will include entertainment, rides and amusements, as well as an expanded food truck festival and fireworks.

SUMMIT, NJ — The City of Summit 70th annual Fourth of July Celebration will take place on Tuesday, July 4 at Soldiers Memorial Field, located at 5 Myrtle Ave.
The daylong celebration will include entertainment, rides and amusements, as well as an expanded food truck festival.
The day will begin with the Flag Raising Ceremony at 9:45 a.m., followed by the children’s decorated bicycle parade at 10 a.m. Rides, amusements and children’s entertainment will continue until 1 p.m., when Memorial Field will close for setup for evening activities.

The evening’s festivities will begin at 6 p.m. and will include rides, entertainment and the food truck festival. Presley and Melody will perform an interactive pop music concert at 6:15 p.m., followed by the Infernos in Concert at 7:30 p.m. The night will close with the spectacular fireworks display, beginning at 9:15 p.m.
