SUMMIT, NJ — The newly opened Piattino: A Neighborhood Bistro in Summit is hosting its first wine dinner on Thursday.
Guests can taste five dishes created specifically for the tasting event along with a wine pairing for each from the Allegrini Family, straight from Valpolicella, Italy.
Corporate Executive Chef Kevin Felice told Patch he looked and tasted the wine to come up with the right food, technique and ingredients from that region to create the perfect pairing menu.
